Codependency recovery relies on your ability to self love, self care, and put your needs first. Signs you are a people pleaser and suffer from the disease to please include, the fear of abandonment, unhealthy boundaries, or a lack of setting boundaries, the fear of rocking the boat, the fear of telling your truth, and the fear of learning how to say no. No is a complete sentence, and when you are a people pleaser and you do not know the signs, you are living below the veil of consciousness. You may be struggling with symptoms of codependency and not be aware of how little you care about yourself.
If you want to stop people pleasing, you will need to stop worrying more about what other people think about you. When you know the signs of the people-pleasing syndrome, you can take a step back and observe your people-pleasing traits. When you step back and observe how you feel, you can hit the pause button and better identify how you attract energy vampires and how you need to learn how to say NO. If you are codependent people pleaser it is time to come face to face with the disease to please.
